Corporate Membership Terms & Conditions

WERC offers a Corporate Membership discount program. An organization may be national, it does not have to be within a defined region, state, or locality, but each member must be employed by the affiliated organization. Terms will run for one year and renewals shall be due by the one year anniversary date. Any group membership discount not renewed will terminate all memberships within the program unless individuals decide to renew on their own without the discount. Group members will be considered Individual Members and will have all the rights and benefits afforded to them per WERC bylaws. Membership resides with individuals regardless of who settles the financial terms and cannot be terminated.


Primary Contact: you must have one primary contact that will be responsible for initially signing all group members up at one time. The primary contact will be WERC’s sole contact for the Corporate Membership. If individuals contact WERC to be added onto the membership throughout the year, the primary contact must approve.

Termination of Member from Group Membership Roster: an organization may not exchange a membership for another person during the annual term for any reason. If an individual leaves prior to the membership expiring, the employer cannot transfer that membership to another employee. Memberships are not refundable in full or part.

New members may be added to the Group upon annual renewal. New members may also be added to a current group plan if they have not met their allotted number of memberships. WERC reserves the right to limit changes to corporate membership plans if changes become regular outside of the annual cycle. All changes must be communicated through the primary contact.

WERC Annual Conference Registration Benefit: WERC’s annual conference registration and hotel policies apply to all registered attendees, including corporate members.

A registration code will be sent to the primary contact of each group once registration for the WERC Annual Conference is open. It is the primary contact’s responsibility to share this code with the group that will be registering to attend the conference as part of your Corporate Membership benefits. Note: WERC membership not required to participate.

The Annual Conference cancellation policy applies to all registered attendees, including Individual Corporate Members. Substitutions can be made at any time and are subject to a $50 change fee per substitution. Annual Conference benefit does not include optional sessions or tours. The Individual Corporate Member is responsible for registering for these events and paying any difference in registration fees. The registration fee paid for tours and optional sessions is non-refundable.

Housing Policy: Corporate Members with applications submitted or renewed by March 21, 2018 are guaranteed access to one room per included registration at WERC’s special rates at one of the conference hotels May 6-9, 2018. Book your rooms through WERC’s official hotel reservations partner (onPeak) by April 4, 2018 and enjoy not only VIP service and exclusive, discounted hotel rates of $214-$229 + tax per night, but also no additional staff registration fees. Should a Corporate Member opt to book hotel rooms for any of their staff outside the official WERC hotels or after April 4, 2018, an additional fee of $250 per person will be due to WERC.
