Cheryl W. Snead of Banneker Industries Named First Vice Chair of Women’s Business Enterprise National Council Forum

NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. (March 31, 2014) – Cheryl W. Snead, president and CEO of Banneker Industries, was named 1st vice chair of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC) Forum. The forum is a prestigious advisory body to the board of directors of WBENC and helps expand growth opportunities for Women Business Enterprises (WBEs). The two-year term began in January 2014.

Snead became involved with the WBENC Forum in 2009 and currently serves on the board of directors. She most recently served as the Government Contract Committee Chair. In recognition of her volunteer efforts, Snead was named a WBENC WBE “Shining Star” in 2009.
