WERC Warehouse Certification Program Audit Process
1. Applicant prepares
Warehouse Certification Program Application. Applicant has also reviewed the
Program Guideline and
Sample Licensing Agreement.
2. WERC receives
Warehouse Certification Program Application and assigns auditor.
3. Auditor contacts applicant, provides pre-audit questionnaire and sets dates for site visit.
4. Auditor visits site for assessment and interviews.
5. The
audit report is delivered to applicant and applicant is informed if their facility received the certification.
6. Facilities receiving certification will be offered a licensing agreement to begin using the facility certification logo within the licensed guidelines. Facility will also receive a plaque acknowledging their certification.
7. The auditor schedules a time to present the report and answer any questions about the process, grading, or comments surrounding their report.
8. A post-audit evaluation is provided to applicant for feedback and process improvement.
Note: If the certification is not obtained, the applicant warehouse may, within thirty (30) days of its receipt of such notice, send written notice of its objections to the Auditor's Assessment Report to WERC. The notice shall be reviewed by WERC's Certification Program Committee. The Committee may either issue its agreement with the Auditor's Assessment Report or order a new audit to be completed at the applicant's expense at a reduced re-examination rate. Within thirty (30) days of the decision or additional audit, WERC shall notify the applicant as to its final determination of the review and whether certification as been obtained.
