| National Distributing Company is a proud distributor of beverage alcohol products. The Atlanta facility is a wholesale spirits and fine wine distribution center. You’ll see multiple mezzanine pick modules in a dry warehouse environment, with 40,000 sq. ft. of refrigeration for fine wines and high density racking with single, 2-deep, 3-deep and 4-deep racking. The operation features a single sortation Dematic conveyor, loading cases into six trucks at a time; a voice-pick bottle room (piece case) and full case line and a WMS with labor management capabilities. |

Staples Atlanta DC's bus departs @1:10pm and returns @ 4:30pm |
This tour is a two-in-one package. The Staples Austell Fulfillment Center supports direct fulfillment of office, print and technology products plus facility and break room supplies and furniture. This facility is the only facility in the Staples network to support five different product lines. Specs include: facility utilizes pick-to-voice technology, is de-trashed and pick-to-cart. The facility supports an imbedded fleet operation consisting of approximately 25 daily routes. It is 350,000 sq. ft. and carries 9K SKUs.
The Staples Lithia Springs Fulfillment Center supports direct fulfillment for Georgia, Alabama and Tennessee and distributes office products, furniture and facility/break room supplies to contract, small business and .com customers. Specs include: pick-to-light and three miles of conveyor. The facility ships approximately 30,000 cartons per day, is 400,000 sq. ft. and carries 25K SKUs. |

Turner Field & Aramark Warehouse bus departs @1:20pm and returns @ 4:10pm |
| Another two-for-one tour! Turner Field was transformed in 1997 from the Olympic Stadium, which was used for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and now the Atlanta Braves play 81+ games at the ballpark each year. Turner Field also hosts hundreds of events, including concerts, weddings, and corporate functions. The Braves Museum & Hall of Fame is located inside the ballpark and features more than 600 Braves artifacts and photographs that trace the team’s history from its beginnings in Boston (1871-1952) to Milwaukee (1953-1965) to Atlanta (1966-Present). The tour of the ballpark takes visitors to the clubhouse, dugout, press box, and much more. You’ll also see the Aramark warehouse, which provides food and merchandise for up to 50,000 people during each game. |

| The Anderson Atlanta DC (500,000 sq. ft., temperature controlled) distributes books, music, and video to 4 customers consisting of over 2,500 retail stores in the continental US and internationally. We sort, tag, and ship roughly 3 million units a week using approximately 300 full time associates across 3 shifts (dayshift, 2nd shift, and weekend shift). Our facility uses the Manhattan WMS, 3 high-speed sorters, and Vocollect to pick, pack, and ship orders. |

The Coca-Cola Company bus departs @ 7:40am and returns @10:00am |
| When you think "Atlanta," it's hard not to think of Coca-Cola. This giant in the industry has kindly opened its doors for WERC conference attendees. On the Atlanta Syrup Plant tour, you'll see 400K sq. ft. of manufacturing and distribution space with a daily throughput of 140 truckloads. Specifics include vertically integrated manufacturing, automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), automated pallet building and a demand-driven supply chain (Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser generates demand based on consumption). The facility was built in 1956 and expanded in 2009. It's environment is both cooler and dry/ambient, and it carries more than 350 SKUs. |

Luxottica Retail bus departs @ 7:10am and returns @ 10:30am |
| Luxottica produces and distributes sun and prescription eyewear of high technical and stylistic quality to improve the well-being and satisfaction of its customers and at the same time create value for employees and the communities in which the Group operates. Tour their McDonough facility (172,000sq. ft.), which services three retail brands plus wholesale operations, and where they pick and ship an average of 950,000 units weekly. Processes include daily special orders and weekly bulk replenishments with shipping domestically and internationally to over 4,000 locations at least once a week using a cross belt sorter, put to light systems and cross docking. |

Pep Boys DC bus departs @ 7:30am and returns @ 10:15am |
In 1921, four Navy buddies pooled together $800 to open a single auto parts supply store in Philadelphia. This venture would go on to become the multi-billion dollar nationwide retail and service chain that is known as Pep Boys today. With over 700 stores across the U.S. and Puerto Rico, the Company has come a long way from its humble beginnings—and everyone recognizes the always cheerful Pep Boys. During this tour, you’ll see a 400,000 sq. ft. facility using a voice pick/family product slotting procedure in a superhub and sister store concept. You’ll hear about their productivity enhancement through standards, their use of an inbound scheduler, yard management, receiver/stocker process and their e-commerce delivery processes.

GENCO ATC Sears Return Center bus departs @ 1:35pm and returns @ 4:40pm |
| GENCO is well known for its demonstrated expertise in returns management. Join this afternoon tour to visit the 328,000 sqft McDonough facility where teammates scan returned goods and sort them by disposition. You’ll see the RF system linked to R-Log (proprietary returns software) that is used as well as how the Sky Trax RTLS (real-time optical system) is used. |
