The California Air Resources Board has posted Draft Regulatory Language and the Workshop Presentation for upcoming workshops
scheduled for May and June. The proposed AB 32 Heavy-Duty Vehicle Greenhouse Gas Emission
Reduction Measure is being developed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by requiring long-haul tractors and 53-foot box-type
trailers to be equipped with technologies that reduce aerodynamic drag and rolling resistance.

Registration of Food Facilities. Find information on national food safety programs, USFDA programs, guidance documents and links to additional sources of information.

Bioterrorism Preparedness and Response Act of 2002. FDA is responsible for carrying out certain provisions of the Bioterrorism Act, particularly Title III, Subtitle A (Protection of Food Supply) and Subtitle B (Protection of Drug Supply). Because Sec. 305 "Registration of Food Facilities" includes "factory, warehouse or establishment that manufactures, processes, packs or holds food," certain warehouse owners /operators may need to stay informed.

Affected food facilities can register with FDA through the Internet, by surface mail (paper or CD-ROM), or by fax.
